FAQ
If I'm flying in, how do I arrange transportation to the retreat?
Fly into RDU, then email me your flight info. We'll coordinate a trip for everyone who is flying in. It's a 3 hour drive from the airport to the house. Please try to land by 2:00 pm EST on the arrival day.
Don't schedule a departing flight before 3:00pm EST on the last day.
Can I wear a bikini?
Yes. It's just us girls.
How do I get my artwork home if I'm flying?
You'll have 2 canvases that are 16 x 20 inches. You'll put paintings and drawings that were done on paper in between the canvasses and tape the canvases together. They fit into most suitcases. If you forget them or they don't fit, I can ship them, but it will cost $25, which you'll have to pay upfront. (And it takes me a while to get it done.)
What kind of art will we do?
Collage, drawing with charcoal and/or marker, acrylics, and watercolor
Do students share rooms?
Yes, students will be in shared rooms. There are no single rooms availalbe. When registering, students can request someone specific to share a room with. Rooms typically sleep 3 or 4 girls. There is a variety of bunk beds and other combinations of beds.
