My Story
I’ve had the joy of interning at several Delightful Art retreats, sitting in on some of Courtney’s amazing classes, subbing in previous sessions, and helping craft lessons for The Art of Ancient History. Outside of Delightful Art Co., I’ve worked behind the scenes on creative projects like digital media, merch design, and even set design for community theater.
I love weaving storytelling, art, and imagination into everything I do and I can’t wait to bring that energy into our classroom.
My teaching and leadership experience has primarily been in the performing arts. As the production coordinator and director at Spiritual Twist Productions, I directed plays of up to 40 performers of all ages. I've coordinated all aspects of putting on a major musical production from working with costumers and set builders to leading prayer circles and worship. I enjoy taking on the challenge of new and creative ideas such as creating a performance in the round to create a more intimate and exciting audience experience.
In addition to directing musical theater, I taught preschool and kindergarten art classes at Kings Town Child Development Center.
In my free time, you can usually find me walking my dog, diving into a new craft, reading, or snapping photos.
Also, fair warning: my dog ,Pippa, might make a surprise cameo or two during class. She’s cute, curious, and loves to be part of the fun!
