For Challenge II Directors & Parents

Self-Paced Recorded lessons for High School Students and Adults
Comes with the Art History Sketchbook!
This set of 12 classes covers all the art in the book, "Marvelous to Behold" used in Classical Conversations' Challenge II.
Recommended for teens and adults.
Paint along with the recorded classes and attend live meetings to discuss the work and learn more! Visiting artists will join the live conversations. Students are welcome to join, but we recommend the full class, "Paint Your Way Through Art History" for teens if they have the time. (This class is just 12 lessons out of the full 30-lesson class).
In the summer, we will have live pop-up classes and reviews with various artists, including Courtney Sanford. Join the newsletter to find out when they will be!

In this live, online art class, students will learn where art, design and the written word intersect. We’ll discover different design styles as both functional pieces and works of art as well as how those pieces communicate to their desired audience. We’ll be exploring typography, posters, logos/branding, and much more. To start we’ll go through the basic design principles and rules. As we progress we will learn to apply those rules to our designs and art. Good design is EVERYWHERE, you just have to learn to look for it. ;)
If you liked “Around the World Through Art and Design” and want to find out if graphic design might be a good career for you, this will be a great next course for you or your student to take with Zachariah Fleming!
