Ages 12 and Under:
Delightful Sampler Class




Live, online class for AGES 7 to 12

Students will build their drawing and watercolor skills while trying lessons from some of our most popular classes: Geo-Art, Fables, Nature Journaling, and American History.​​ Students will get a taste of our 4 classes for younger students in this fun class with Natalie Moser!

Your child will discover they're an artist this summer! In this joyful, hands-on class, students explore the foundational building blocks of art — color, shape, line, and light — through exciting projects using acrylic paint, watercolor, tissue paper, markers, and more. Each week brings a new creative challenge inspired by legendary artists like Monet, Van Gogh, Matisse, and Seurat.

By the end of six weeks, your student will have:

Mixed their own colors from scratch

Learned to "see" light the way the Impressionists did

Built real drawing and painting skills they'll use for life

Created 5–6 original works of art that they'll be proud to display

Impressionism & Beyond

​Students will really improve their painting and drawing skills by taking inspiration from the masters of light and color.
​​
In this vibrant painting class, students explore acrylic techniques while learning to mix color, capture light, and paint with expressive energy inspired by artists like Vincent van Gogh. Students build confidence with brushwork and color while developing their own creative style in a supportive, encouraging workshop environment. It's not just impressionism...exploring color, shadow, and depth will improve your students' painting in realism and other styles as well! (Classes are recorded so if you miss one, you can do it with the recording later.)

Artistic Anatomy Drawing Class

It's anatomy for artists!In this engaging summer class, students learn to draw the human figure with greater confidence by understanding how the body is structured and how it moves. Lessons combine art and anatomy in an age-appropriate, accessible way, helping students connect bones, muscles, and proportions to stronger, more accurate drawings. (Classes are recorded so if you miss one, you can do it with the recording later.)

Supplies Needed: Sketchbook, drawing pencils, fine tip black pen, tracing paper, colored pencils, masking tape, bending tools, eraser.

self-paced art history class!

Self-Paced Recorded lessons for High School Students and Adults
Comes with the Art History Sketchbook!
This set of 12 classes covers all the art in the book, "Marvelous to Behold" used in Classical Conversations' Challenge II.

Recommended for teens and adults.
Paint along with the recorded classes and attend live meetings to discuss the work and learn more! Visiting artists will join the live conversations. Students are welcome to join, but we recommend the full class, "Paint Your Way Through Art History" for teens if they have the time. (This class is just 12 lessons out of the full 30-lesson class).

Classes that use acrylic paint: you only need 4 colors:
Cadmium yellow, medium, phthalocyanine blue, magenta, and white (you may substitute with similar colors).
