Service Description

Meets once a week for 7 weeks Thursdays 1:00 to 2:00 am EST June 11 - July 30 ​No Class July 1 for Independence Day. ​Students will really improve their painting skills in this class with Alyssa Strauss. In this vibrant painting class, students explore acrylic techniques while learning to mix color, capture light, and paint with expressive energy inspired by artists like Vincent van Gogh. Students build confidence with brushwork and color while developing their own creative style in a supportive, encouraging workshop environment. It's not just impressionism...exploring color, shadow, and depth will improve your students' painting in realism and other styles as well! (Classes are recorded so if you miss one, you can do it with the recording later.) Supplies Needed: Mixed media paper, acrylic paints, assorted brushes. Paint colors: magenta, yellow, blue, white.
