Playing with Impressionism

Service Description

Live, online class for AGES 7 to 12 Meets once a week for 6 weeks Thursdays 11:30 to 12:30 am EST June 11 - July 23 ​No Class July 1 for Independence Day. ​ Students will build their art skills in this fun class with Alyssa Strauss! Explore impressionism and painting with a sense of play! Bright colors, summer fun, motion, and light are all elements that students will play with in this fun class. They will use a variety of supplies and techniques to explore art! (Classes are recorded so if you miss one, you can do it with the recording later.) This is a fun class for students to get their hands on lots of colors and art supplies. If they have had a Delightful class already, this will help them with color mixing and getting expressive. Supplies Needed: Mixed media art journal or mixed media paper, acrylic paints*, assorted brushes, colored tissue paper, Q-tips, pencil, Sharpie marker, colored markers. Paint colors: magenta, yellow, blue, white. ​
